Alice Turner

I have always loved photography and reading magazines.  After a degree in Photography and Modern Languages at The University of Gloucestershire, I set myself the challenge of working in the media.  After working for free, sleeping on sisters' sofas and making lots of tea, I got there.  Over the last 15 years, I have worked across many London based magazines including Grazia, Glamour, Red, Cosmopolitan, Lonely Planet, and Sky.  My career then took me to the newspaper world where I became Picture Director of Buzz at The Sun, Commercial Picture Editor at The Telegraph and then Picture Editor of Guardian Labs where I am currently enjoying working with a brilliantly talented team producing lots of original work for the Guardian's commercial clients.
